Lisbon Tour Itinerary*:
Day 1 - Lisbon
Hotel My Story – Dinner
As soon as your private transfer picks you up from the airport, you will instantly be hypnotised by the Portuguese vibes.
Freshen up at your hotel, relax, get your bearings and at 6pm get to know your fellow voyageurs as you make our way to a local restaurant to rejoice the night away.
Day 2 - Lisbon
Hotel My Story – Breakfast & Lunch
We’re going to market.
This morning our Portuguese chef will take us to a local market before we get a hands-on private cooking class. Prepare a traditional Portuguese dish and wash it down with a few classes of local wine whilst relaxing with your girlfriends.
After lunch we go on a guided walking tour to explore the treasures of Lisbon. Much of its character and charm lies in its beautiful renovated buildings, grand boulevards and impressive castles and churches.
The evening is free for you to roam through charming narrow streets and experience the local night life. Barrio Alto is the place to head to, so I’ve been told!
Day 3 - Lisbon
Hotel My Story – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
After a delicious breakfast we’ll catch the train to Cascais, a stunning diverse coastline of beaches for our morning bike ride.
Starting from Cascais train station, we’ll cycle along the coast to see some of the most beautiful and dramatic landscapes. Stopping at Guincho Beach, famous for its surfing, and Boca do Inferno Hell’s Mouth because of the continued pounding of the Atlantic Ocean on the cliffs it chiselled out a small cave, which then collapsed forming a small bay and natural arch.
We continue uphill to Peninha Sanctuary in the Sintra mountain range for 360 degrees of breathtaking views. Returning to Cascais for a well-deserved lunch and some free time to explore the old town and the beach before heading back to Lisbon.
Tonight, we go on a private sunset dinner cruise accompanied by a traditional ‘Fado’ music show (if in season). Fado is a genre of Portuguese soul music that originated from Africa and has evolved to blend with the way of Lisbon life.
Day 4 - Departure Day
Sadly it’s time bid your farewells as your Lisbon weekend adventure has come to an end.
You’ve shopped, cooked and eaten traditional Portuguese dishes, witnessed some spectacular scenery and ancient ruins, exercised your mind, body and soul, walked through picture postcard cobbled streets of Lisbon and relaxed, or danced the night away on a sunset cruise.
